At the moment, the committee is currently interested in adopting BOTH OOXML and ODF as standards. I e-mailed the Danish Minster of Science and posted my views on the subject and asked why a proprietary standard was being considered. A few weeks later, I got a reply back from one of his secretaries that it would help promote competition between the two formats.<br />
- Lasse Havelund

Article mentioned is a shorter version of this one http://www.version2.dk/artikel/3337 for which I am partially responsible as I mailed journalist the partner information of the committee members.
I'd be delighted to officially compain if anyone could tell me whom?
I don't think Danish Standards institute has any way of blocking anyone from joining committee, this level of undue influence on a technical committee is unprecendented and has probably taken Dansk Standard by surprise. If anything its surprising that this hasnt happened sooner considdering the only requirement for joining was paying a 2000€ fee if I remember correctly. This might have be acceptable in sektors where all involved are commercial entities, but it is blatantly inappropriate in areas where non-commercial communities has a stake in how things turn out.
Parliament is on vacation at the moment and goverment is very Microsoft friendly, so don't expect any objection from them. One of the last things goverment did before going on vacation was to make a 3 year purchase agreement with Microsoft and decide OOXML IS an open standard for with regard to B103 (a descision from parliament last year that mandated use of open standards in govermental institions).
