How to get rid of these MSFT stooges?

According to Alex Brown, the ISO board has the formal power to forcefully downgrade unresponsive P-members to O membership status. If these dysfunctional new members fail to resign their P membership voluntarily, I am sure we will see some action from ISO soon. Such actions will not change the list of voters for the BRM on DIS 29500, but it will help to set things straight for later. Let's hope that this was just a sad parenthesis in ISO history, and that it will soon be over.

Under the headline OOXML Payback Time as Global Standards Work in SC 34 "Grinds to a Halt" Andy Updegrove reports that the newly upgraded "P" members in the important ISO/IEC Joint Technical Committee 1 (JTC1) do not bother to vote on other issues but OOXML, with the result that since the OOXML ballot closed on September 2, not a single ballot has received enough votes to count in this important committee. Why? Because the last minute arrivals to SC 34 are not bothering to vote.

Is further proof needed that these are not good-faith members? How to get rid of these MSFT stooges?

The full story is here: http://www.consortiuminfo.org/standardsblog/article.php?story=20071016092352827
