The sad story of Microsoft hijacking the standardization process continues. Months of thorough work and hundreds of detailed comments on the deficiencies of the proposed standard have been brushed aside by the newcomers, as FFII.se, which participated in the discussions reports:

Note that in Germany, OOXML-critical companies have been denied the right to vote with the argument that they didn't participate in all of the foregoing discussions…
